Seattle International Film Festival, a very fine thang ...
Each year I do
my best to see as many movies as possible and each year I am determined
to see more movies than I did the year before! I've only been working
and attending the festival since 2003, but I will include
reviews of films that played in earlier SIFF years that I saw after the
fact. These reviews are pretty much verbatim from my journal and as
such they reflect the date and time at which they were originally
written. They have a more off-the-cuff, free-wheelin' style to
them and occasionally some of the commentary is a bit outdated. They are
the source for the reviews in the reviews
section, but there they are edited and tidied up for general
consumption. Here you
